On the day of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to CUA, a viewing area with a very large screen will be set up on the lawn area located between the Pryzbyla Center and the Columbus School of Law.

 

At 10 a.m., CUA will broadcast the Mass held at Nationals Park.

 

Later, spectators on the lawn will be able to witness the pope’s arrival at the Pryzbyla Center, watch his speech live on the large screen outdoors, and then view his departure from the Pryz.

 

Catholic University will print and distribute 4,000 tickets for CUA faculty, staff and students who will be admitted to the lawn area for these events.

 

Between the Mass and the Holy Father’s arrival on campus, entertainment will be provided on the lawn area.

A broadcast of the Mass and the Holy Father’s address will air on CUA’s cable Channel 36 in the residence halls and a live stream will be available on CUA’s Web site.
